Standard Mesh Filter Bags:

– Monofilament mesh (Nylon mesh and Polyester mesh media)

They are a plain weave structures, filtered by surface filtration. Solid particles could be separated that nearly reaches absolute filtration because preventing opening mesh holes through heat welding treatment at fiber intersection. Also, the fiber will not fall out and will not mix into the filtrate. Depending on the material, the filtration accuracy is nominally 15-800 microns. Depending on the application, could be cleaned and reused.

 

Typical filter material characteristics:

Polyester, Polypropylene, Nylon, Nomex, PTFE, etc. materials have different characteristics, could be used in different chemical properties and temperatures

• Polyester(PET) is the most common fiber, good chemical and heat (<150-170℃)resistance.
• Polypropylene（PP）has excellent acid and alkali resistance, so it’s widely used in the chemical industry. But bad heat resistance(90-100℃), and it’s can’t be used in aromatic liquid.
• Nylon(NMO) has good heat ((<150-170℃)) and chemical resistance ( except acid).
• Nomex is a brand of Aramid, is a portmanteau of “aromatic polyamide”. Excellent heat and flame resistance (<200-220℃).
• PTFE has both excellent acid-alkali and heat resistance(<250-270℃).
