PP and PE filter bags are the most commonly used in liquid industry.
Compared with PP and PE filter bags, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) liquid filter bags are more resistant to high temperature, strong acid, and alkali and have higher filtration accuracy. As a result, the PTFE liquid filter bag can achieve high-quality filtration without being affected by any environment under adverse working conditions. In contrast, the price of PTFE will be much higher than that of ordinary PP filter bags.
PTFE is the abbreviation of polytetrafluoroethylene, with excellent chemical stability, commonly known as the “king of plastics.” PTFE is a macromolecular linear structure. Its crystallization melting point is 327 ℃. It can be used for a long time in the range of -180 ℃ ~ 260 ℃. It is acid, alkali-resistant, and corrosion resistant; It can resist oxidation and surface dirt and is not brittle. PTFE macromolecules have shallow surface free energy, high non-adhesion, and a very low friction coefficient. It does not break or burn, and its LOI is as high as 95%. At the same time, it will not hydrolyze, which is better than the vapor permeability of almost any known material. It can maintain excellent physical and chemical properties throughout its service life.
